About the Manufacturer


GE Fanuc was established in 1986 as a joint venture between the American company General Electric and the Japanese company Fanuc. They introduced a variety of products including 90-30 controllers, the Genius series of distributed I/O and Series 6 programmable logic controllers. In 2009, General Electric and Fanuc decided to end their joint venture with General Electric retaining the control and automation side of the business and Fanuc taking control of the CNC business.
