About the Manufacturer


GE Fanuc was established in 1986 as a joint venture between the American company General Electric and the Japanese company Fanuc. They introduced a variety of products including 90-30 PLCs, the Genius series of distributed I/O and Series 6 PLCs. In 2009, General Electric and Fanuc decided to split with GE retaining the control and automation side of the business and Fanuc taking control of the CNC business.
