Your new role

As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for performing repairs down to component level on a wide range of industrial equipment including variable speed drives, PLCs, touchscreen HMIs and power supplies.

  • Performing repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment including variable speed drives, PLCs, touch screen HMIs and power supplies
  • Diagnose and repair units down to component level
  • Working with and without the aid of schematics
  • Soldering and reworking components (SMD and thru-hole)
  • Creating and following test procedures
  • Using problem solving skills to find a logical approach to testing and fault finding

Your new role

Working primarily across the North West and North East of England, you will respond quickly to customers with equipment breakdowns in order to return them to production.

Working as a Field Service Engineer would include:

  • Attending various sites across the North West and further afield if needed, responding to clients who machinery has broken down
  • Fault finding and diagnosis of electrical faults on industrial machinery
  • Working on 3 phase supplies, working at 240 and 415v
  • Working in a production environment rectifying issues on a variety of machines
  • Working with AC inverters, DC drives, programmable logic controllers, ie Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi
  • Online diagnostics and commissioning
  • Installation of replacement / new equipment

  • Full UK driving licence
  • NVQ level 3 Electrical (minimum) / HNC Electrical (preferred) / Apprentice Trained.
  • 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Minimum 3 years experience gained in a manufacturing environment/factory automation
  • Time-served electrical maintenance engineering experience
  • Knowledge of software language, PLC programming, electrical control systems, industrial automation, used for diagnosing faults
  • Knowledge of commissioning and diagnosing faults on VSDs (variable speed drives).
  • Ability to read schematic drawings
  • An analytical approach to problem solving
  • Some multi-skilling would be advantageous

About The Role

  • This role involves dismantling electronics assemblies, with a view to reutilising sub-assemblies or recycling unrequired parts.
  • We are looking for a self motivated individual, with a proactive approach, who enjoys working with their hands.
  • An interest in technology, is environmentally minded and wants to be part of a growing team that supports industries worldwide.  
  • The core function of the disassembly technician will be to take apart old electronic equipment with a view to reusing any items that can still be repurposed, whilst recycling the remaining components, metalwork and casing according to WEEE regulations. 
  • Secondary tasks will involve warehousing tasks i.e stock movements, storage etc
  • Adding and tracking parts on our internal databases
  • Involvement in our quality assurance processes

As a Purchasing Assistant, you will work within our Purchasing Team, sourcing/buying stock from across the globe, interacting with new and existing clients worldwide and using negotiation and decision making skills to help progress the extraordinary growth of the company.


The Role:

  • Managing supplier relations and identifying potential new suppliers
  • Sourcing/buying new stock & replenishing current lines
  • Dealing with inquiries from the sales department, and assisting with export and import-related issues
  • Contacting suppliers for product availability, lead times and prices
  • Using Negotiation and decision making skills to source the best quality products with the best prices and lead times
  • Generating offers based on customer supplied information (sell to us)
  • Issuing and expediting purchase orders, dealing with end to end processes
  • Sourcing specific parts the customers require based on their specific needs
  • Assisting the Purchasing Manager with the acquisition of useful and relevant stock
  • Liaising with other departments on a daily basis including Engineering, Sales Team, Warehouse and Accounts
  • Working in a high pressure, fast paced environment, capable of making quick decisions
  • Pricing stock using market trends and available information.
