Allen Bradley GuardPLC is a family of programmable controllers with additional safety functions. 1755-L1 is from one of the the GuardPLC ranges which includes GuardPLC 1200, 1600, 1800 and 2000. These PLCs are ideal for sensing speed, temperature, direction, pressure, zero-speed and flow applications. Communication options such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, GuardPLC Ethernet and ASCII are supported in addition to embedded I/O. With the GuardPLC series global PLC standards are met making it most commonly used in applications such as amusement park rides, emergency shutdown, burner management systems and perimeter guarding for robot/weld systems and packaging machines.
