ControlLogix multi vendor interface module
Description

About this product

Here is all you need to know

Part of the ControlLogix series, The Allen Bradley 1756-MVI is a multi vendor interface module (aka MVI module).  Like all modules in the ControlLogix range the MVI module is straight forward to install and can be used in any slot on the ControlLogix Chassis.  LEDs on the front of the module are used to indicate the status of the channel and module. This can be extremely useful when trying diagnose faults on your PLC.  Under the front panel you will find three DJ$% communications ports which are used to interface the ControlLogix system with external devices. The communications protocol is set by the jumper on the side of the AB 1756-MVI. Changing the jumpers enables communication via Rs232, RS422 or RS485.  If you require any help please contact one of the Northern Industrial team.
