Find support for the now obsolete PLC-2 family at Northern Industrial. the Allen Bradley 1772-SD2 is a remote I/O scanner module that enables the user to increase the device I/O capacity from 896 to 1792. A remote I/O scanner/distribution panel is designed to:

  • Gather input data from remote I/O adapter modules and send it to the processor
  • Receive output data from the output image table of the PLC processor and distribute this data to remote I/O adapter module, which updates the status of the output signals
