PLC5 I/O Scanner Module
Description

About this product

Here is all you need to know

The Allen Bradley 1775-SR5 is a I/O Scanner Communications Adapter which is designed to provide high speed communications for the PLC-3/10 programmable controller.  The Coms Adapter features four I/O communication channels which provide high speed I/O communication with up to 4096 I/O. In fact you can connect up to 16 I/O chassis to a single channel.  An I/O scan priority function enables the AB 1771-SR5 to select a faster scan for designated I/O chassis.   Loosing vital information is always a worry for manufacturers. Often the information stored on a PLC is more valuable the the PLC. Thankfully the backup facility on the 1775-SR5 enables the hot backup of the PLC3-10 system if a fault shuts down the primary system.  Status indicators on the from of the unit provide easy troubleshooting by keeping the operator on the scanner's status. For more information on this please see the datasheet or contact a Northern Industrial customer service team member.
