Simadyn D PM6 Rapid 64-BIT CPU Module with Binary Inputs, L and C BUS
Description

About this product

Here is all you need to know

The Siemens 6DD1600-0AK0 is a CPU module from the Simadyn D control system. This control system is now obsolete, but at Northern Industrial we continue to support users of the Simadyn D family.

At a glance, the 6DD1600-0AK0 is a rapid, 64-BIT CPU module. It has binary inputs as well as L and C BUS. As it is a rack-based control system, the Simadyn CPU modules have to be slotted into a forced ventilation subrack. The job of the CPU is to process open and closed loop tasks that demand an extremely high computational performance or where the program is very large.

Speaking of programs, the program used on the processor module can be configured on a PC using the STEP7/HWConfig and CFC software. The program can either be loaded onto a PCMCIA card and then inserted into the slot provided on the CPU module (offline loading), or sent directly from the PC via a serial communications connection in the memory module inserted in the CPU module (online loading).
