The Siemens 6ES5921-3WB13 is a processor module for the S5-135 series of programmable controllers. The module is often referred to as the CPU 921 Processor module. The module is designed for binary signal processing (open-loop control tasks) and can be used in single or multiprocessor operations.

The CPU 921 has a wealth of features including:

A plugin RAM or Eprom submodule with a maximum of 64 kbytes for instructions and data of the user program (for CPU 921 and CPU 922)
A 7.4 kbyte integrated data memory (DB-RAM) for data of the user program
2049 flags, 128 times, 128 countes
Processing from up to 4096 binary inputs/outputs each
