The Siemens 6ES7338-4BC00-0AB0 is a signal module for the Simatic S7-300 PLC family. A signal module is the interface of the S7-300 system to the process. This module has two freeze inputs and is used for reading of positioning value. It connects to the backplane via a 20-pin connector. Signal modules are part of the range of function modules for the S7-300 series. These function modules are intelligent modules that reduce the load on the processor module by independently executing the technological tasks.
