The Siemens Simatic S7 series of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) have a number of power supplies you can choose from. Siemens 6ES7 407-0DA00-0AA0 is a Simatic S7-400 power supply that converts AC or DC line voltages to the 5 VDC and 24 VDC operating voltages required. They are designed to occupy the slots one to three on your rack, whilst being cooled by natural convection.

  • The design of the module includes:
  • LED displays that indicate internal faults, correct output voltages and correct backup battery voltage
  • Power supply connection
  • Pushbutton for fault acknowledgement
  • Supply voltage selector switch
  • On/off switch for output voltages
  • Backup battery compartment
