The Siemens Simatic S7 series of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) have a number of power supplies you can choose from. Siemens 6ES7 407-0DA00-0AA0 is a Simatic S7-400 power supply that converts AC or DC line voltages to the 5 VDC and 24 VDC operating voltages required. They are designed to occupy the slots one to three on your rack, whilst being cooled by natural convection.

The design of the module includes:
LED displays that indicate internal faults, correct output voltages and correct backup battery voltage
Power supply connection
Pushbutton for fault acknowledgement
Supply voltage selector switch
On/off switch for output voltages
Backup battery compartment
