About the Manufacturer

Sinumerik CNC systems have now been around since the 1960s when Siemens built their first industrial grade numerical control system. Since Siemens developed the first Sinumerik CNC there has been many more, including the 810D system first released to cover the lower performance tasks not yet covered by other Sinumerik systems. One of the CNCs from this series is the 6FC3551-1AC-Z which we continue to support at Northern Industrial. Tasks including turning, drilling, moulding, milling, grinding and stamping are all supported by the 810D which provides the CNC, communications, PLC, HMI and closed loop control in one compact control unit.
