About the Manufacturer

The first Sinumerik CNC was built by Siemens in 1964 after they developed their first numerical control system in 1960. Since the first Sinumerik CNC there have been many editions, the 810D system came along between 1994 and 1996 to fill the lower performance gap not yet covered by the other Sinumerik controllers. One of the CNCs from this series is the 6FC5410-0AY03-0AA1 which we continue to support at Northern Industrial. Tasks including turning, drilling, moulding, milling, grinding and stamping are all supported by the 810D which provides the CNC, communications, PLC, HMI and closed loop control in one compact control unit.
