Overview

The now obsolete Siemens 6SN1145-1BA02-0CA1 is 36/47kW infeed module for the Simodrive 611 converter system.  The module is often referred to as a E/R module and is usually installed alongside a power module,  line filter and control card.  The infeed module should always occupy the left hand slot in the module group. The power modules are located to the right of the E/R modul - with the largest one closest.  

As already mentioned the Siemens 6SN1145-1BA02-0CA1 is now obsolete and has been replaced with the 6SN1145-1BA02-0CA2. In terms of functionality there is no real difference between the two units. You can even use the predessecor which is the Siemens 6SN1145-1BA02-0CA0. For technical support or questions regarding substituting one module for another please contact us, 

Test & Repairing you're E/R Module

At Northern Industrial we have a dedicated test rig for functionally testing E/R Modules and have successfully repaired a large number of these units over the past 10 years.  During the repair process we perform a full preventative maintenance service. This means we replace all components that are likely to degrade with time and do not just replace the faulty components.  We often find the capacitors used in E/R module develop faults after period of 7 years and can cause intermittent faults when not replaced. This helps prolong the life expectancy of our 6SN1145-1BA02-0CA1 repairs.  We also do not test the part in isolation as we test them alongside other modules in the Simodrive 611 converter system.
