Description

About this product

Here is all you need to know

The Control Techniques SM-I/O 32 breakout box (part number: 82000000014701) provides a convenient way of interfacing to the SM-I/O 32 module by providing 38 screw terminals. The breakout box also allows the SM-I/O 32 module to meet IEC 61131-2 by increasing the current load capability of the digital inputs on the SM-I/O 32 module from approximately 0.5mA to 2.2mA.

Connecting the Breakout Box

The breakout box is connected to the SM-I/O 32 module using a 37-way cable. A 1m cable is available from the supplier of the module. The shell of the
37-way D-type connector on the break-out box is connected to the ground screw terminal. The break-out box is designed to be mounted on DIN rail.
