About this product

Here is all you need to know

COMMANDER C200
By Control Techniques
Low voltage general purpose AC drives

Unidrive C200 inverters drive

The Commander C family is the 6th generation of AC drive by Control Techniques, who have established the standard of excellence in motor control since 1983. This latest generation of inverter drive utilises over 30 years’ worth of knowledge to meet the specific requirements and provide optimum user experience in a wide range of applications. As with other Control Techniques drives, you can expect straightforward installation and commissioning, the latest energy saving features and option modules to expand the level of control required. Not to mention the Commander C200 is the easy upgrade option for both Commander SK and Unidrive M200 drives.

Ideal for many industries

The Commander C range is ideal for a range of industries thanks to its many useful features such as onboard PLC and PID functionalities, enhanced open loop control and small physical size. Some of the industries that can benefit from the Commander C200 include: pumping ventilating and compressing; conveying; lifting, hoisting and winching; access control; and processing applications such as mixers, crushers, agitators, centrifuges and extruders.

Many features

Utilise the C200 in your application and enjoy many features such as integrated PLC and PID functionalities, enhanced open loop control, supply loss ride through which keeps the drive running during power outages and conformal coating for added robustness.

Many options

Like all Control Techniques drives, you can extend capabilities for your application with the use of option modules including communication modules to connect to industrial networks, fixed and remote keypads, backup adapters and input/output modules.

Commander SK upgrade

As the direct upgrade path for the Commander SK, it’s super easy to use the C200 as a replacement. Easily slot the c200 in the same installation space, mounting plates are available where necessary, and transfer parameters with M Connect.

Onboard PLC

Embedded intelligence removes the need for an additional external controller. This saves both cost and space when installing Commander C200 drives into a system.

Robust and reliable

The C200 is equipped with a range of features to maximise its lifespan. Conformal coated PCBs protect from harsh environments, whilst the patented air flow system cools and protects components.

Save energy

Enjoy 98% efficiency as only 2% is lost during the conversion process. As well as that, efficiency is improved by reducing motor voltage during low demand. A low power standby mode means drives can be idle for significant periods, saving energy.

Intuitive commissioning software

You have two options when it comes to commissioning and maintaining your drive applications, depending on how advanced the application is. The Connect software provides a familiar Windows interface for fast task based commissioning and easy maintenance. Dynamic drive logic diagrams in the Connect software allow the user to visualise and control the drive in real time. Users with more advanced applications can make use of Machine Control Studio which provides a flexible and intuitive environment for programming the onboard PLC.
