Description

About this product

Here is all you need to know

The Varispeed F7 CIMR-F7U41P5 is a 1.5kW, A, 380...480V AC VFD manufactured by Yaskawa. The Varispeed F7 range is durable and has an array of functions to make driving your application easy. CIMR-F7U41P5 provides optimum control in variety of industries and applications, from fan and pump applications to extruders and printing machines.

Varispeed F7 Performance

The CIMR-F7U41P5 has many features to enhance its performance. It is also user-friendly due to the detachable control terminals, easy to operate thanks to the clear hierarchy of parameter setting menus and easy to troubleshoot as modified parameters are shown differently from the default parameter sets. Some of the performance features of the Varispeed F7 drive include:

  • Optimum control by selecting characteristics for variable torque or constant torque
  • Precise torque limit functions for accurate control of the output torque
  • Low noise and high carrier frequency PWM control for quiet motor operation
  • High-speed current vector control for rapid response to speed-reference changes
  • Open-loop vector control: speed response 5 Hz
  • Flux vector control: speed response 40 Hz
  • High-torque operation of 150% is possible from zero speed due to flux-vector control
  • When constant torque is selected, open-loop vector control permits a high-torque operation of 150% at 0.5 Hz from a low speed of 1/100
  • Fully controlled using a digital operator. Optional LCD operator with the same functions is available
Functions of CIMR-F7U41P5
  • Energy saving, efficient operation using vector or V/f control
  • Built-in braking transistor as standard
  • Droop control for parallel motor operation
  • High speed over current limiting function for uninterrupted operation
  • Easy customisation with the custom application software environment (CASE)
  • Reduced deceleration times without braking transistor due to high slip braking function
  • Precise motor operation with high level flux vector control
  • Zero-servo control function
  • Autotuning functions including: rotational autotuning (open-loop vector control, flux vector control), stationary autotuning (open-loop vector control, flux vector control), stationary autotuning for line-to-line resistance only (V/f control)
  • Countermeasures to minimise harmonic distortion
  • Various I/O interfaces (8 digital reference input points and three analogue reference input points)
