Features of the CIMR-G7C40450

The Varispeed G7 series is designed to be extremely user friendly, with a range of in-built features to enhance the user experience. It offers a high level of control and is designed to be easy to use from the initial setup right through to maintaining your drive.

Some of the CIMR-G7C40450’s features include:

  • Low voltage surge - Reducing the need for surge voltage protection for the motor
  • Low electrical noise - Reducing the effects on peripheral devices
  • Low acoustic noise
  • Extensive energy saving control for any application whether in vector control or V/f control
  • Global field networks - Fully compliant with RS422/485 (MEMOBUS/Modbus protocol) standards
  • Communications options cards to enable connection to hosts and PLCs, reduce wiring and manage production equipment. Communications options include MECHATROLINK, DeviceNet, CC-Link, Profibus-DP, LonWorks and CANopen

  • With a PG speed control card you can use the high-speed current vector control, which keeps the speed at a constant even if the load fluctuates. The PG card also makes more than 150% high-torque operation possible even at zero speed
  • Accurate torque control - A precision torque limit function enables accurate control of the output torque which in turn protects your drive from sudden load fluctuations
  • Reduced recovery time after momentary power loss - recovery is possible regardless of the direction of rotation
  • Excellent torque characteristics - The Varispeed G7 has improved torque characteristics (150%/0.3 Hz for open loop vector control 2) to provide high power for every machine
