About the Manufacturer

Established in Detroit, Michigan in 1903 by Bryson D. Horton, Square D was originally named the McBride Manufacturing Company and set out to supply electrical distribution and industrial control equipment. Today they are headquartered in Chicago, Illinois and are a part of the massive Schneider Electric brand after joining the company back in 1991.

Square D are well-known for their circuit breakers, monitoring equipment an control systems such as their range of programmable controllers known as Sy/Max.
