UNIDRIVE M200
By Control Techniques
The AC inverter drive with limitless connectivity
Unidrive M200 inverters at a glance

Control Techniques have excelled again with the release of the Unidrive M series, creating a new inverter drive range to bring flexibility, productivity and ease-of-use to many applications. The M200 is the direct replacement for the popular Commander SK variable speed drive range and makes for an easy and straightforward swap. Each M200 VSD is the same size or smaller than their SK counterpart, eliminating the need to adjust installation spaces. M Connect software also makes it simple to transfer parameters.

Quick and easy setup

Commissioning on the Unidrive M200 is super easy with a fixed LED keypad standard and a list of useful parameter guide on the front of the drive to enhance understanding when setting up and interrogating. Parameters can be easily saved or transferred between drives using drives using the Unidrive M Connect PC tool or an SD card with AI-Back-up or AI-Smart Adaptor. You can even transfer parameters without mains power to the drive using the AI-Back-up or AI-Smart Adaptor.

Many applications

The M200 can be utilised for many applications including fans, pumps, conveyors, mixers and applications where functions are controlled remotely via fieldbus or Ethernet communications.

Many options

Expand the capabilities of the M200 with exactly what you need. Extend I/O, connect to a range of communication network or control your drive remotely with handy SI modules.

Commander SK upgrade

As the direct upgrade path for the Commander SK, its super easy to use the M200 as a replacement. Easily slot the M200 in the same installation space, mounting plates are available where necessary, and transfer parameters with M Connect.

Advanced open loop motor control

M200s advanced Rotor Flux Control (RFC-A) utilises closed loop current control to give maximum stability of induction motors at all powers. It provides a high bandwidth control algorithm with 125 us current loop update rates and 180% motor overload.

Save panel space

For machine builders inverter size is important. The Unidrive M200 compact inverter dimensions are among the smallest in class at every power rating.

Energy saving

Energy costs are a key factor for many industries. The M200 is jam packed with feature to enhance energy efficiency including a low power standby mode when the drive is idle, and intelligent motor motion control for fan & pump applications.

Unidrive M Connect commissioning tool

Unidrive M Connect is the powerful inverter drive configuration tool for commissioning, optimizing and monitoring inverter performance. Throughout the design of the software, Control Techniques has conducted extensive user research and has even involved some of the engineers from Northern Industrial. The result is a piece of software the offers a familiar windows interface, intuitive graphics tools, dynamic drive logic diagrams and network drive discovery. Simply put, a straightforward piece of software that is simply enough to use and powerful enough to do the job.
