The PPC-120T-EW-RT is a 12.1" Windows® CE Panel PC that is a ready-to-run, Pentium® MMX based Windows® CE hardware and software platform. It comes with the pre-configured Windows® CE 3.0 OS image for the Panel PC. One doesn’t need to waste time and energy on developing on-board device drivers or using Platform Builder to build a custom Windows® CE OS image for the target hardware, Advantech has done that. All the user needs to do is to develop his Windows® CE applications.

There are five easy steps to initiate and run a Windows® CE
application with Advantech solution:
1.Install Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 and Service Pack 6 (or Windows 2000) on development host PC
2.Install Microsoft embedded Visual Tools 3.0 on development host PC
3.Install Advantech Platform SDK on development host PC
4.Remote connect to target Windows® CE Panel PC by Ethernet or serial port
5.Develop, test and debug the Windows® CE applications
