The Mitsubishi Q312B-E is a main base unit for System Q series PLCs. A main base unit is needed in all modular PLC systems as they are used for mounting and connecting all modules. The base unit also provides power and communication buses between modules. This main base is used for mounting and connecting CPUs, power supply unit, I/O modules and special function modules. The Q312B-E has 12 slots for input and output modules which are automatically addressed and are mounted by means of screws or on a profiled rail with an integrated adapter.
