Colour Operator Dialogue Module
Description

About this product

Here is all you need to know

The Telemecanique TSXPCM372 is a colour operator dialogue module for the TSX Series 7 TSX47/67/87/107 range of PLCs.  When connected to a control panel, the TSXPCM372 offers the operator or technician concerned with maintaining machine performance, the possibility of visual control and on-line diagnostic assistance. The TTSXPCM372 also allows colour display of texts or animated graphics. For the monochrome version please see TSXPCM27E. The front panel provides a socket for the user memory cartridge, a status LED, and I/O status LED, a Rest Button and a 26 pin Operator Control Panel connector. The rear face of the module is equiped with a mechanical locating device which eliminates any risk of positioning error while installing or changing the module.

The dialogue module is accepted by all Series 7, Model 40 modular controllers and performs the control and processing of the operator control panel. Up to 4 PC Modules may be installed in one controller.  If the TSXPCM372 module is to be connected to the TSXCPX3714 terminal, the terminal should not be fitted with a TSXDEP1212 interface card with 12 discrete inputs.  This problem does not affect the application, the keyboard is simply blocked momentarily ("busy" indicator lamp on continuously). It can be solved by cutting the power supply to the terminal.

As mention earlier the Telemecanique TSXPCM372 features a mermory card slot and can accept the same user memory cartridges to those use in the TSXP processor modules. Northern Industrial have a wide selection of memory carts available for purchase or repair. Please contact us for additional information.
