X2 Marine
By Beijer
The HMI built for life at sea
X2 Marine overview

X2 marine panels offer user-friendly, reliable operation off-shore, on ships and in other maritime applications. With black frame and nautical society certifications, panels are suitable for mounting on the bridge, in the engine room and inside cabins. X2 marine panels are available with optional high brightness display and integrated CODESYS PLC functionality.

Software that works

A HMI is only as good as its programming software. Bad software eats up time and increases costs. Thankfully, the iX software combines top-class vector graphics and easy-to-use functions that provide reliable operation, and almost limitless connectivity to your other equipment. iX Developer supports a huge list of drivers to enable communication with equipment from renowned brands including Allen Bradley, Control Techniques, Mitsubishi, Omron and Siemens.

Integration at WARP speed

Create integrated HMI, control, drives and data communication solutions with WARP Engineering Studio. WARP automatically configures all hardware, software and communication in your application.

Modules and memory

Its easy to interface with controllers using optional CiX CAN, Profibus or MPI modules. Card holder and USB connection are located behind the lid on the back of the panel for smart memory expansion, project backup and application loading.

Certifications

Being specifically designed for marine applications, the range meets extended classes of marine certifications not usually carried by HMIs making them suitable for all onboard locations. Not only that, they also carry standard certifications including UL, CE, FCC and KCC.

High brightness display

One of the differentials about the X2 Marine is that high brightness display versions are available. This optional 1,000 cd/m backlight with anti-reflective film provides excellent readability in high ambient light levels such as sunlight.

All environments

All the X2 Marine HMIs have robust aluminium housing with IP65, NEMA 4X/12 and UL Type 4X/12 front making them resistant to direct rain, snow or wash-downs, dirt, grime and dust. They also have a wide operating temperature of -10C to +60C.

Outputs and isolations

High brightness (HB) versions of the panels include built-in digital outputs for direct connection of alarms, signal lights, etc. Internal isolation conforms to marine standards for both bust and surge immunity.
