Northern Industrial Electronics Limited (known as Northern Industrial) is committed to maintaining customer privacy and maintaining the security of any personal data which we receive from you.
We are also committed to responsible data management and subscribe to the principles of data protection legislation in the United Kingdom. Please contact us at [email protected] if you wish to have your personal information removed from a particular mailing list or database at any time.
Visitors to our Website who purchase our products will be asked to enter basic personal information. This information is stored securely on our database and is not made available to third parties, beyond the essential requirement for credit card validation during purchase. The information is used solely for our billing, payment and sales analysis purposes, and notifying customers and partners of future updates to our products. We offer a range of email newsletters which we send only to those customers who have opted in to our mailing list or who have purchased Goods from us. Customers may opt out from receiving a newsletter by either clicking on the link provided in the newsletter or by changing their contact details via our website.
We do not receive or store any credit card information. This information is taken and processed on our behalf by the secure servers of PayPal. PayPal may need to transfer some information outside the EU area for the purposes of credit card validation and authentication. Telephone credit card transactions may be completed either by PayPal or Streamline. In the latter case, credit card details are destroyed as soon as the transaction has been processed.
COOKIES
Cookies are small text files that are created by a web server and stored on your computer when you visit a website. NORTHERN INDUSTRIAL COOKIES
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- To identify what site referred the visitor to the Northern Industrial website. This information is used to help us manage our affiliate and advertising programmes.
- To store the contents of a visitor's shopping basket. Each time a visitor selects a product by clicking on a 'Buy Now' ‘Make Offer’ or ‘Check Stock’ or ‘Enquire’ buttons, we record the identifier of the product in a cookie.
- To record analytics data. This data is captured anonymously, aggregated and made available to us (and only us) via the Google Analytics tools. We use this data to analyse how visitors interact with our website. This helps us to continually improve our website and products by allowing us to better understand what content and products visitors want. This cookie is created when you add a product to your shopping basket and is automatically deleted once you close your browser.
