Siemens Sinamics S120 Single Motor Module 132A 71kW 500VDC

From the modular SINAMICS S120 series of AC Drives, the Siemens 6SL3120-1TE31-3AA3 is a 132A single motor module that requires a 510-720V DC supply voltage.  This small book size single motor module features internal air cooling, optimised pulse sampling and support of the extended integrated safety functions such as DRIVE-CLIQ.  Like all drives within this range, the 6SL3120-1TE31-3AA3 consist of a power module infeed and a power control card. Features such as positioning control and field bus communications can be added with a Control Unit (e.g. CU310 DP).

Application

The drive is suitable for demanding drive applications in the fields of mechanical and plant engineering. The module is able to control a wide variety of motors including Asynchronous, Synchronous, Torque and Linear and can operate in V/F control, vector control and servo control.

Like all SINAMICS S120 AC Drives the 6SL3120-1TE31-3AA3 supplements the DC/AC units with a central power infeed and a DC link. The SINAMICS S120 AC drive can easily be implemented in conjunction with higher level automation systems using field bus interfaces and the standarized PROFIdrive profile.  Because it is so easy to combine the 6SL3120-1TE31-3AA3  with other SINAMICS S120 units, multi axis groupings can be extended comfortably and economically.
