Nano PLC with 14 Inputs, 12 Transistor Outputs and 24V DC Power Supply
Description

About this product

Here is all you need to know

From the now obsolete Nano range of programmable logic controllers, the Telemecanique TSX07312412 is a compact PLC with 14 inputs, 12 transistor outputs and 24V DC power supply. The module was also rebadged as Merlin Green, Modicon and Square D. With its short processing time and fast up/down counting functions, the TSX 0731 2412 optimised machine response times. Simply by setting parameters on the integral real time clock, it controls operations with reference to the day time or date of event.   The is no need for a special interface when connecting operator panels, monitors or HMI terminals. These connect directly via the Nano PLC terminal port .

Size Maters

Due to it compact size the  TSX 0731 2412 could be installed in shallow enclosures and directly within the framework of machine, or in mobile installations. It is easy to mount and can either be clipped onto a DIN rail or screwed vertically or horizontally onto a mounting plate.

Typical Applications

The compact design and intuitive setup, enabled the  TSX07312412 to be installed in a wide variety of applications  incluing:

  • Parking lot barriers and automatic door
  • Pump Management in waste processing
  • air condition systems
  • textile machinery
  • wrapping and packing in the food industry
  • Industrial washing machines
  • Car Washes
  • Vending Machines
Programming your Telemecanique Nano PLC

You will need a copy of PL7-07 to read and write programs to the TSX07312412. The software can be used for programming in instruction list or ladder language on a PC. These languages conform to the standard IEC 1131-3 and can be mixed and reversed. The instructions for the Nano ensure that the user can perform fast programming, save memory space and simplify the coding of complex task.

  • Processing of words (comparison, conversion, arithmetic, operations etc)
  • Preprogrammed blocks and functions (counter, drum controllers, registers)
  • Graphic instructions
  • Sub routines and jumps

The diagnostic functions on the PL7-07 software are also really useful when setting up your PLC.  The can help reduce maintenance times and application startup.

  • Program and data animation
  • Possibility of saving lists of variables with their values
  • Forcing of I/O
  • Troubleshooting guided by cross reference for variables
  • Offline programming or connected to the PLC
  • Modifications possible in Run

16 realtime clock blocks can be programmed for daily or monthly operation by simply configuration using the FTX 117 pocket terminal that is available from Northern Industrial. Speak to one of the team or search the part number on http_2_3.dev.nicontrols.com
